I found this hilarious  convo on a reddit sub between a scammer and his target. The scammer confessed in the end

In the company website about us page, they claim to have been in the industry for six years. But research from https://www.scamquery.com/review/coinpil.com/ shows that the site domain had only been registered months before and is a new platform that has no trust records. The client reviews on the site are fake.

That's a big LOL, though I'm not sure it belongs in this section.  Too bad there isn't an "entertainment" section on this forum, where crazy crap about bitcoin from around the interwebs can be posted.  It is a scam attempt, but it's not likely anybody here is in danger of falling for it.

Weekly withdrawals, that's funny.  I was just watching some videos (here's one) about that Earth2 scam that's going on in the video game world, and it also involves crypto somehow (though I didn't dive deep enough to figure out the connection).  It's truly amazing to me how many scammers there are in the crypto space and how many suckers there are who fall for things that should seem too good to be true.

And you know what?  The more crypto scams there are, the more scrutiny from the government we're going to get.  This shit hurts us all.

That's called social engineering I think, I have seen this kind of thing before and it's a really scary scam because they befriend you into doing something and then when you finally let your guard down, it's all downhill from there. You can find them online everywhere, because their job is to scam people. You will not be able to stop such criminal activities, but you will be able to prevent them from falling into the trap by warning people. Newcomers need to understand that no one in the online world should be trusted quickly, scammers always say sweet things to make them feel trusted. So it is very important to exopse their activities.
