Blockcap is a North American bitcoin mining company that plans to increase its processing power by another 1,900 peta hash due to the rising price of Bitcoin.
According to The Block, the company said in a statement that it had purchased another 10,000 S19 antiminer extraction devices from Bitmain to double its processing power.
Former directors of Core Scientific In the United States founded The BlockCap in 2020. So far, 10,000 S19 miners have been launched and are in work at Scientific Blind Cleaning Farm, the company said.
The total processing power of existing miners is 950 peta hash per second, and with the current extraction difficulty they can generate about 5.5 Bitcoins in 24 hours.
