did I just get scammed? cannot sell ART, already paid 25USD for "allowing"

I have bought ART token on bsc - cannot sell it - pancake always ask me to enable ART and I need to pay 25USD - I have already paid 25USD but still cannot sell and it is asking me again to allow selling for 25USD

Always check in official sites for their token address man. There are lots of scammers out their selling wrong tokens. To avoid this to happen again, go to Coinmarketcap or Coingecko to check the contract address of that coin you desired to buy. Second, paste the address on pancakeswap select token page. It will automatically show the token name. Lastly, check if the price of the coin is similar with whats in cmc or coingecko. Always check the contract address.

It seems like a kind of classic scamming technique, the scheme is to make the user send a fund before they are able to withdraw.

Take a look at the contract address on BscScan, on the comments section, you will see a lot of people also can't sell it, and saying the token is a scam. So, it's very likely you can't do anything about the token.

@vv181 - fck.. I see it now - all comments that it is scam.. I send them 25USD.. :/ should know immediately that this price is scam but why pancakescam doesn't block them already...

that's a scam token. The developers preventing or locking the contract and that makes people can only buy but they can't sell. The similar case happened with squid game cash token.

Pancake has no responsibility over this as the user should have done a research before try to buy any token from pancake swap. There are bunch of scam tokens issued in daily basis these days and you must be careful. You can ask people in here before try to buy any token from pancakeswap.

This is good for you to ask anything related to the altcoins. People would help you to avoid scam token.

Before you make a purchase, have you checked the coins? Don't be in a hurry and don't pay attention to the signs of a scam. Always do some research first, and analyze how they run the project. Know what coin you want to invest in, find out who is behind it, read the white paper, monitor social media and see if liquidity is locked up, see the percentage of tokens they are allocated. Don't just buy and pay no attention to the basics in a new project.

A real tradable token doesn't asks you to pay for this or that with a certain amount but only indicates the fee for the trade or swap.

I have just checked the page of the token that you bought (Artificial Reality Token (ART)) on BSC scan and actually, I have not found a contract for it. It is possible to get to know how it works if you check necessary functions, but there is no smart-contract.It is a bad sign.

Developers hide their code so this token can’t be reliable. It is a scam. Please, do more careful research before investing in the future.
