I'm currently facing a problem with my Gigabyte motherboard GA B85-HD3, this motherboard only displays when vga cable is connected to the monitor but not hdmi cable, even if I remove all graphics card the HDMI port that comes with the motherboard won't display anything.

HDMI ports of motherboard are too fragile, if you mistaken shake the cabke forcefully while it's still connected to the port it can ruin the port, this sound like a fault HDMI port since the VGA display is working.
