In case you just joined the cryptoverse then you are in for one hell of a ride. Metaverse is just another one of those hypes that will die out soon and 95% of the tokens riding on its hype won't recover from the fall by the time we get to the next bull run

He needs to give particular coins here because what he's basically asking is quite vague. Some examples of metaverse coins are ALICE, ENJ, SAND, TVK, CHR, whereas for web 3.0 are HNT, FLUX, FIL, DOT and KSM. So with these projects, you still need to do your own assessment which one will survive long and sustain the interest of crypto users. I am seeing DOT as one promising here as they are deploying their own network that a lot can use. Whereas, for metaverse, they can easily jump their price but hard to tell when.

I've seen a lot of newbies do that in the past and they've managed to acquire, not profits. Metaverse sure they are a trend these days but you still need to do research diligently about it.

Both have own value and we cannot choose only one. I will choose both. Metaverse is performing very well specially Mana,Sand,Mobox,Gala,Cocos performed very well. So metaverse trends may be high in 2022 from 221.
Next Trend may be 3.0 . these projects have idea to decentralize internet system. kusama,Helium amd Dot are the main projects which can perform well in future.

Could it pump to $10 or $20, sure it’s possible however with what is going on with the stock market at the moment. There seems to be a risk off environment and all these coins might have massive corrections sooner rather than later.

You'd probably have to find a new one for those types of coins. Most coins that are of those types have been pretty much pumped already and it's rather scary to invest in it more since you never know when it could dump. Both are still good imo but it's just a matter of finding an actual coin that would let you profit. I'd suggest looking for some of the coins that dipped, (most of them did actually) and probably invest in a few of them? I hardly doubt you'd get a lot though since it'd be hard to go past their peak in a short amount of time.

For me honestly, it's Sandbox, Adidas post a tweet creating a metaverse together with Sandbox, their alpha is also currently live and it's getting hype. I'm also waiting for BlockchainSpace, I see on their tweet that they just closed a Strategic Funding Round and cryptocom, ftx, kingsway capital and okex participated. CZ tweet "Awesome' about Moon Nation Gaming, it's currently on my watchlist, their graphics is far more better than any other metaverses. I'm also hyped with NFT Gaming, as it will continuously grow and become better.

Unit bias is one of those things that I'm totally surprised that still exists today, and we're almost into 2022. Cardano and XRP definitely don't deserve to be in the top 6-7 but yet here we are because amateur "investors thing they're "cheap".

What does your research tell you? If you already did, you can test some strategies. As far as Web 3.0 coins are concerned, Polkadot seems to be the famous one. For Metaverse, ride at those popular NFT-based blockchain games that have already been in operation for a long.

If you can afford it, try diversification to test what's plan will be the best.

If I am right, the web 3.0, is just another version of the web (it is said to be the future of the web, and it will be giving the opportunity to developers to take back control of their contents from tech giants).The only thing that is a coming here is the metaverse. So, your question should be whether the metaverse coin is good for yourmoney.

For now, my answer would be a yes, and there are lots of news these days that would tell you that you should be focused on this particular coin. The news has really been positive a enough , and people has shown greater interest in this project, which means that it is really going to be profitable as time goes on. And for the fact that it is owned by a huge platform, then it is really going to perform well.

For me, both are good. I would diversify my portfolio to get metaverse as well as web 3.0 coins. I would also add some NFT art and NFT play to earn games as this will be big in the next couple of years. It's too early to say! Web 3.0 is still at a very nascent stage so you can expect a lot of changes in this industry, especially with tech giants like Facebook started preparing for metaverse. So a lot can change from the current situation and things can go upside down.
