Afghan Currency being replaced by Bitcoin isn't gonna make a big impact. Also the Taliban's are the one who follow the laws on the Quran in a much strict manner. So, at any cost they'll take an opposing decision someday. What they take forward at the moment looks like a temporary plan. Right now all that necessary is a living atmosphere, without that who is gonna make use of bitcoin within the country.

And why would they do that? doesn't make sense at all.

If they would replace it, are there enough infrastructure in Afghanistan that will help them transact using BTC? First you have internet to be able to used bitcoin around that country, is there is none then it's useless.

Besides, do you think oppressive government like Taliban will allow the people to use crypto as way to hide their money and wealth? Or give financial freedom? Nah, don't think so.

Afghanistan needs infrastructure development and lots of it. Even in developed countries of the world like USA, EU not many are familiar with crypto. Moreover, governments all around the world are also showing strong opposition to crypto. I don't think that many governments will allow crypto to be used as official currency and Taliban's are not an exception.

Afghanistan has remained the battlefield of war and fight for nearly the last forty years. Their political, financial & social structure has been destroyed. There needs a lot of time for its restoration. This country is far away from development & advanced technology. The facility of computer, internet, and its accessories is very less there. The awareness about BTC or cryptocurrency is not enough there. So at this time, it is not possible that Afghanistan to replace afghan currency with Bitcoin?

Bitcoin gives financial freedom. Afghanistan suppresses freedom just like every terrorist organization or nation. So, how is it ever going to be possible that the country will go the Bitcoin way and jettison its Fiat that enables it a hold on its citizens? That's not possible. Whatever article one reads on that is a gimmick for me. We aren't even talking about the lack of infrastructure to back up the adventure in terms of electricity and the internet in Afghanistan.

Before you boast of your material acquisition, take a stroll to a morgue and there you will find those who were once better than you're. Only fools think they've it all. Stay humble 🤔
