G'day, first post, so still working it all out.

I am just wondering if anyone knows the *true* status of expresscrypto.io.
Have they scammed, or will they come back online?
There are (I assume) many frustrated users, and faucet owners (like myself), looking for a simple clear answer..

For those who are interested, but do not yet know -
* Expresscrypto went down on 24th Dec due to a hardware failure.
* Their last update regarding the situation was January 4th, stating that 'Due to the holidays, there is no update from the (recovery) company.'

This is quite a serious situation, as stolen cryptos (or any type) should be a concern to anybody involved in the crypto world.

I personally would hope, that developers have the ability to Black Flag any crypto addresses that the owner (and Mods) of EC possess.
..but maybe that is just a dream from a small fish in a big pond.

There is plenty of speculation around this situation - one only has to *insert search engine of choice* Search to see what information is currently available. All the way down to the reviews that are starting to appear.

I had around 400-500 USD equivalent of various cryptos in EC - some in staking, some in saving, and some in my general wallet. I know there would be others who have more in there.

I feel that, if this type of thing continues to happen, then Cryptocurrency in its' entirety, is doomed to fail.

So, my specific questions are:
Does anybody TRULY know what is happening with expresscrypto, and is it going to come back online?

Regards.

No, unless you count the employee/owner.

and is it going to come back online?

Based on discussion at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5378843, i doubt it'll happen.
