In this 'MX12 coin art' thread I would like to show you my process, beginning of producing limited edition coins and I want to share it with you. The thread will always be updated and any suggestions are appreciated

As an very simple idea, I will drop the image of one of my drafts to let this thread begin.



Long way to go but I think that I can create something valuable for collectors with this beautiful community.
I am of course looking for some trustful people where I can connect with people like silver dealers and so on. Let's see where it goes.

At the moment this will be more like discussion thread where I will build up collection of my created coin.

first of all, i think it's really good that you now also dare to create coins
what i would find good in that the coins should also have an engraving value in sats or BTC
since you also need a good manufacturer for the hologram i would recommend that you get in touch with MrCryptHodl, Frank AlpenCoin and/or Kryptowerk for example... they also have their own projects going on and could certainly give you some advice and all 3 are also from your 'region'

it could be a DIY wallet so then no denomination would be necessary though by using a denomination, you could then offer multiple variations of the coin. Though I think this would also raise your production costs overall.

Well done, interesting thread and hopefully it will grow.

Like you I love creating stuff but I have no desire to create coins so I admire your thinking.

As cygan said there are certain criteria which need to be present on a collectible, the BTC if
its Bitcoin, the makeup 1oz Silver for example and a unique design! I like the design above
there has to be a recognised symbol as well as what looks like the Anarchy one.

A DIY wallet as above is a good option for all IMO, look at the few threads reporting problems
with pre-loaded coins although I have no experience of this and I dont own any pre-loaded
coins anyway.

Overall I find this very interesting.

Without causing offense to any other makers I think MrCryptHodl set a very high bar
with his recent creations.
