I have been trading BTC/ETH manually for a long time and the method is simple:

 - I have a balance of BTC and ETH.
 - When one goes down, buy the other.
 - Sell the amount of capital and keep the profits.
 - redo it.

Now I would like to try some bots that do this, it's my first time trying trading BOTS so I prefer:

 - Well-reviewed bot: any bot has a good rating and a wide usage among users.
 - Open source: If it is open source, it is better, but I have no problem with paid bots.
 - User experiences: want to know more personal experiences, has anyone traded this pair trading?
 - Platforms: I focus mainly on Kucoin, Okex.
 - YouTube tutorials: if there are some videos its better.

Does any one have a good experience with this?

Exactly the question I wanted to ask you, how often have you used bots.
Again, in your strategy above, you have been winning, do you agree that there are some variations. If such variation occurs how will the bot be able to handle it?

I am no an expert here, but I had a horrible experience with bot. I will recommend you pay attention to this you listed:
Quote
- User experiences: want to know more personal experiences, has anyone traded this pair trading?
If you do not have a reliable feedback of this question, I'll advise you forget the idea.
I have used same bot with someone, while I was running on losses he was winning because he has a vast experience on how to manipulate the bot.
I was actually using automated means while he was doing semi-automated (50% bot, 50% manual)

I do not know what exactly trading bot you looking for but almost all trading bot is doing the same thing and it depends on how you set up your strategy except on other trading bots which you can only do is copying other strategies. We already have a big list of the trading bots here but I guess you already know that list.

If you are looking for an open-source one and free then Zenbot is what you looking for, everything that you want to do is there you just need to learn how to make your own strategy. Making your own strategies with Zenbot is not easy you must learn first how it works so check these docs below and learn about creating strategies.

I did not understand the point you are trying to make, but it is my first experience with trading bots, so I do not expect to make any profits, but to learn with small amounts and try something new.

What I'm looking for is user experiences using any bot for Bitcoin/ETH trading pair on Kucoin/Okex exchange.
The strategy in this case will not be complicated, but as soon as the price of one of the pairs changes by more than 5%, it will execute a buy/sell order.
This can be done in the platform but I will need to check execution of the orders and then manually re-place the buy and sell orders.

will check it

Correct always make research when providing bots that can manage your trades and of course must choose thus have good ratings and feedbacks to prevent fake bots. I suggest go to youtube so that you can easily find some specific information when it come choosing bots, or try DGP trading bots because i heard their bots are legit.

I haven't used any trading bots nor do I have faith. So just be careful using the trading bot. Because I believe it's quite important to take decisions in real-time for crypto trading based on situation, in that case I don't believe bot is enough intelligent than human brain. But the rest depends on you, hope you are enough experienced. It should be trusted and well tested. Otherwise, there would problems later on.

I've also traded with bots, I think it's more comfortable to use bots, as long as we continue to monitor them, I think that's good. What needs to be considered when using a trading bot is that we have to choose a bot with a good win rate, as well as a good bot history.

I think bots in crypto trading are not reliable and better you can contiune manual trade btc or eth rather than through bots.

Secondly can i ask that how do you perfectly time the market. Suppose, eth is high and you sell it for btc but what if the eth contiune going high and you do not get the chance to buy back the eth at lower prices ? In depth explaination can help others also take this btc/eth pair trades.  Smiley

Who cares, you will have a bitcoin that will rise, both assets have a future value and therefore, in any case, their value will rise against USD, the only loss will be an accounting loss, not a financial loss.

Generally, I do this with about 10% to 15% of my trading funds which is always less than 1 ETH.

Buying/selling is always at support and resistance points, which depends mainly on the difference in timing between the price of bitcoin when rising and altcoin prices.

I've never used bots in my trading so honestly I have no experience of it, but when trying to search on google it turns out that KuCoin is one of the exchanges that you use for trading has own bots and launch in 2021, maybe you can check and try it.
