User Woke Up from long period of activity send phishing link via PM.

I would suggest to edit out the link in your post (put in code tags for example). And report the PM to moderators if you haven't done so yet.

Edit: the user has been banned so I'm guessing you or someone did report them

In such cases, the user is quickly banned, so we do not need to create topics for such cases.
In general, do you have an old association with the user? Often, such links are sent from hacked accounts to people with whom hacked account communicate, and therefore you know or trust him to suspect that he sent phishing links.
If you know the user before, it is better to check your old DMs because the data on it may be leaked by the hacker.

Threads like this can be justified if the user is not banned for a few days after sending the phishing link via PM. But on this I might agree with you because that user was banned before this thread was created.

I can only get on the positive side of the thread that all users should be careful with PMs containing suspicious links which are usually hidden between texts. Not clicking on the link directly is the best way to prevent this, it can be done by direct cursor or mouse over the link hidden in the text and seeing where it leads in the bottom left corner.

Seems the attacker forum status changed to archived status (Autoban). You did the right thing by reporting to admins. Most likely account farmers wake up to spread phishing links. Thanks for sharing it with the community.
