I would like to know from the OP's question, Is a quote like below what you mean.
A blockchain game (also known as a NFT game or a crypto game) is a video game that includes elements that use cryptography-based blockchain technologies. Blockchain elements in these games are most often based on the use of cryptocurrency or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which players can buy, sell, or trade with other players, with the game publisher taking a fee from each transaction as a form of monetization. In some cases, players of blockchain games have earned enough to pay for costs of living, making these games also known as play-to-earn games. While blockchain games have been available since 2017, blockchain games have only gathered the attention of the video game industry in 2021, with several AAA publishers having expressed strong intent to explore their potential, as well as criticism from players, developers, and companies within the game industry.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5326640.msg59176210#msg59176210I'm not sure what I show is suitable for the OP or not, clearly I don't understand in detail the intent and purpose of the OP game in question.
After reading what he wrote I think what he is referring to is an NFT game. The one you quoted has an explanation of the NFT game so this is useful for the OP because he didn't know how NFT games work or how to play them. Is the blockchain game the same as the NFT game? because I know there are blockchain games before but they are rewarding users with crypto not NFT, there are no NFTs back in time.
Some of the blockchain based games are related to gambling not only video games that we can play on our phone via app. What is good about NFT games is you own the items that you pay and you can later re-sell them for profit.
