This is good initiative by the government to combat those frauds and for sure many will communicate them since there's a huge reward will be given to certain individuals which can give vital information towards illegal activities. But hopefully their whistleblowers will also have protection since for sure their life is in danger due to information they told to the government.

What does this remind me of ? And this country screams about democracy and blah blah. A police state that does not cope on its own, but attracts informers. Soon the era of Stalinism will begin, when loved ones knocked on each other. Maybe someone likes it, but as for me, I think that everyone should mind their own business. The police should cope on their own, and not bribe people with various bonuses.

It could have little or no effect , forgetting that base on this information to compensate the whistleblower, the targeted could as well before they engage on any crypto transaction, could pay some randsom amount of money to settle the people they want to do business and at the end of the whole thing, no one would be caught in the act.
