Hi,
I want to share that I’ve written a fictional feature film script with Bitcoin as the main theme. It’s called “We Are BLiberty”.
Here is the Logline:
In a dystopian near future in which social order, personal freedoms and financial systems have broken down, an underground group plots to stop a government and large bank from killing Bitcoin.
A few things:
I don’t expect to make any money out of this, I just want to get it made, it would be fun and it'll bring new people into Bitcoin.
The film intends to dramatize a worst case scenario for government over reach and the devaluation of the US Dollar. I think people not into Bitcoin would like it.
The 1st draft was sent to a top script consultant in LA, who gave me a lot of excellent feedback, which was then incorporated into the now completed 2nd draft. The 2nd draft has just been sent to another script consultant, I’m waiting on that feedback, to then write a 3rd draft.
The idea is to have a very tight and engaging story, I think it’s 95% of the way there. But the “5%” is where the magic is, and that’s why I will write another draft.
Does anyone here have experience in the film industry, or just want to help get this film made? If yes, let me know. I’m happy to send the 2nd draft to you, so you can read it. At some stage I’ll have to try and raise funds for the film, any ideas on how to do that would be appreciated. It’s written in a way to be made as cheaply as possible.
