"unknown app" : I get your concern but if people don't use them, how a well tested App with good UI get popular?
Giving ppl a reason that your app is worth using is your job. Users are not gonna flock into this just because you put it there for download. If it works that way, everyone should've been successful.
I will ask Developer to immediately review all permissions and remove unnecessary asap.
App DOES need access to memory like other apps to save its state as it keeps all your data and API key on device.
It doesn't send any of data to any remote server. API key never leaves your device.
Anything to back that up? Where'd you find this developer? How did you make sure they're trustable?
About API Key: Use of Read only api key is safe. Safety guarantee is provided by Binance and not this unknown app Smiley
I've been using other apps with read only key and never had an incident.
Trusting an exchange 100% will never be my cup of tea. and the X time I'm using it or anyone doesn't guarantee anything.
1. I found any app built with fb's react-native framework that need access to memory will require those permission. Go check with your sources.
2. >Anything to back that up?
This app is reviewed and approved by play store.
OTOH Tell me how would you do that? Tell me your plan that will convince you.
>Where'd you find this developer? How did you make sure they're trustable?
I'm a backend dev and I've reviewed code at every stage. I don't intend to spend $$ for $1 app to get it certified. Play store review and approval is sufficient.
3. >Trusting an exchange 100% will never be my cup of tea. and the X time I'm using it or anyone doesn't guarantee anything.
After reading this, i feel like you just want to say something for sake of it. You don't want to trust Binance where people trade millions. Well good for you sir, please use DEX and then you even won't need this app.
