Hello everyone.

I would like your advice for upgrading my current asic miners.

Since my electricity supply is limited, what you guys recommend? 12 X Bitmain 140TH XP for bitcoin mining or 12 X L7 9.5Ghs Scypt algo?

Thanks

You must give more details about the limited Electricity supply you mean do you have only 10,000kw? or lower than that?
What is your source of power is that solar or it is residential Electricity?

What exactly are your current ASIC miners?

I think you better read this link below it should answer your needs if I'm right.

well this is the btc section so I should say get 12x 140th xp units. and not say get 12 x L7 units.

but lets talk as if I am allowed to weigh and judge the two.

the 140th xp cost about 11.5k direct from bitmain and it does not ship until march

the 95th s19 cost about 3.9k direct from bitmain and ships in a week.

the L7 cost about 14k direct from bitmain and ships in 10 days.

I would say buy
 4 95th s19 for 16k
4 L7.           for 56k
4 140th xp for 48k

this way you are mining now with ⅔ the gear and have ⅓ coming next year.

LTC is a dead fork, it failed to make a new ATH in the last bull run, and chances are, it will continue to perform very poor for the rest of it's remaining lifespan, besides, difficulty of those small-cap coins can double in 1 week where in BTC you can be almost certain that difficulty won't double in a year, I would say mine only BTC.

But paying the money now and having to wait till next year is stupid IMO, just get yourself some S19 pro which are not very different from the XP version and you can get them at spot.

Thanks for your reply, this is really helpful. I currently have 22 S9J's and a whatsminer M20S so my plugs are 12 with 20amps circuit breakers. L7's seems more profitable but you never know what's going on with scrypt algo so i assume i'll stick with 140XP's.
