It's actually quite facinating to me how yobit has managed to keep on going with these scams all those years

People were speculating that they would exit scam around 2017 (ICO time) but here we are today. Those shitcoins they keep adding to their platform must've been paying well.

Whether it is indeed a Bitcoin fork or not is not an issue. After all, Bitcoin forks and shitcoins are probably synonymous, although not all shitcoins are Bitcoin forks. But there's not even a very thin line which separates Bitcoin forks from shitcoins. So, who knows, this is indeed a Bitcoin fork.

But no big deal. We have already more than a hundred of them. Bitcoin is open source. People, especially YoBit, could easily clone it, and produce another shitcoin Bitcoin fork. And, no, we wouldn't be informed every time Bitcoin is forked.

Jurisdiction, the number of fcks authorities give and the fact that yobit's exact wherebouts is unknown could be one of the reasons why.

People were speculating that they would exit scam around 2017 (ICO time) but here we are today. Those shitcoins they keep adding to their platform must've been paying well.

They will exit at some point but who knows when. Most likely, being able to dodge authorities after all these years despite the blatant scams have given them an ego boost to stay longer.

I agree that nobody should be considering even a small amount of respect towards that platform. I mean they have been ousted as a shit exchange that scams people and there were too many people that lost their money there and didn't get it back. When they had signature campaign here, they paid so much money and many people participated and that was a big discussion, heated arguments ensued and many people got neg trust because of it as well.

There is no reason to follow up on what they are doing, I am not even talking about participating or buying or hold, I mean not even being aware of them and what they are doing because that is how shitty they are.

I don't think that's a good idea... if no one follows up on them, no one would be able to inform the communities about the scam methods they're introducing. After all, not everyone knows how shady they are.

I have some old shitcoins and yobit and it seems I can only exchange them through FUSD coin it doesn't even have support on other exchange and what I notice is that I also have a bonus but all of them goes to investbox just like what happened before where they are giving away Yo or Yovi coins.

How is this exchange still alive it seems that there are still many Russian users trading there based on their chats?

Their Withdrawal fees are so high, just like HitBTC's as compared to the rest of the exchanges. So that's where they end up trapping people.

A trader reaches a point where they are either forced to leave the funds in the exchange because the withdrawal fees are higher that what they even want to withdraw especially for the tokens, or they only get to trade in Yobit because the withdrawal wallets are in a never ending maintenance state  Grin

Is this exchange still alive? Surprisingly they are really that long to live after all the years of existing and been frowned upon to be one of the most shadiest platforms that we've known in history.

No answer/response forever
Lots of shitty tokens
High withdrawal
Never ending wallet maintenance
High house edge gambling games(dont know if its still there)
Shady ICO's

and now we do have that new bitcoin fork? Wow.
