Binance denies news of CoinDesk acquisitionCoinDesk, owned by Digital Currency Group, has been looking for a partner for recapitalization since January. News has surfaced that Binance Capital Management is exploring the possibility of buying CoinDesk through crypto market tracking site CoinMarketCap.
The estimated value of CoinDesk is around $300 million, although experts claim that the purchase price could be much lower, already around $75 million. However, Changpeng Zhao put an end to this story, with a statement on Twitter that there is nothing to buy, because although CoinDesk is a healthy company, it does not match Binance's geographical strategic ideas.
