There was a report released on “ Individuals holding cryptoassets: uptake and understanding”.
This was commissioned by the HMRC for research agency Kantar UK to explore the cryptoasset market in the UK.
The report was published on 5th July 2022, but the research data was gathered between February 2021 and June 2021.

There’s some very interesting data and it’s worth a scroll through - I must admit I haven’t had a thorough read through yet, BUT I will.

But for me at the moment it’s very interesting that a report was commissioned, as this suggests that future HMRC rules and tax regulations could be based on these results.

Have a look at let me what you think  Smiley
