What's the difference between Liquidity mining and Farming on Dexes?

I've been thinking maybe Liquidity Mining is just adding of two different assets trading on the decentralised exchange to liquidity and Farming is staking those assets receipt to earn the a particular coin or token.
Ive not Google this because I will probably get more explanation here.
I will appreciate more details.
