Sapphire RX 580 Pulse Dead ?

Hello,

I bought Sapphire RX 580 Pulse and it worked fine before, after changing the bios it started behaving abnormally. I reverted the bios from the backup I took and it still not working or mining. RX580 seems to be okay and it's in pretty new condition. I am encountering some errors during installation and after, which might help understanding the situation better.

I've done this in the past and it works for me, not sure it will work for you but there is hope in trying, I bought some rx580s from aliexpress years ago and two of the rx580 came with an issue similar with yours, I don't have the BIOS backup, I find them online using google and flash the BIOS using HiveOS..

The best BIOS flasher is HiveOS, it always go smoothly, not familiar with HiveOS? You need to watch some videos on Youtube, either how to install or how to flash BIOS, all the best.

I see that you have problems with the bios, so the software from the manufacturer gives an error. You need the original BIOS of the video card. Perhaps you bought a video card already with a bios flashed for mining or did not update the bios of the video card.
Hive OS will not have such problems.

HiveOS failed to flash the latest bios from techpowerup.com even I tried to flash the default backup bios and didn't work, also ATI Flash v3.31 failed to flash bios so I used v2.93 to flash the default bios.
Bios modding is not likely working for this card and having black screen display issue, only default bios worked.

Happened to me twice. It was flashed hynix memory but when i dissamble the card i saw samsung chips inside. Then i downloaded samsung bios after that no issue. Some geniuses people flashed it

if it doesn't work with any bios, there is probably a problem. many cards get this because of overclocking and generally from temperatures and high voltage.

For Windows, there is a simple solution for video cards with the original bios. I've used this before, and the drivers didn't give out errors.

I have not checked this link, search the Internet for the latest version of this program.  Or take photos of your video cards with batch numbers and ask other miners for the original bios.
