Why hoard your knowledge about a subject.

Please guys let's have a discuss on this as to why, and with possible ways to changing these reasons behind such  mindset or belief.

I think when people are in a discussion forum and have new knowledge or awkwardness in their thinking, they will surely share it or throw a question in the forum. of course to see the response from members of the forum or community.
but if the situation is as you say, more likely, the idea or problem that the idea itself is still not perfect. or there are still doubts regarding the information to be shared. everyone I think has been in a situation like that. but when the time comes, maybe everything will be open to the public for discussion.

For me it's depends on the knowledge that one person have because some of them hold thier knowledge it because they will know that once it shared it will be abused by other and the best example of this is when a particular person really can hack anything and if he shared it to other person it will be abused and there's a chance that every people will used that in a bad way. So it depends on the knowledge and the person itself.

There are many reasons to be sincere, but in my opinion, some people may decide to conceal their information in order to get an advantage over rivals. The other explanation is that they might not feel enough secure in their views or information, which would cause them to keep it to themselves. In the case of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, some individuals may opt to keep their information to themselves in order to safeguard their assets safe or the manner they obtain their assets may be utilized longer while still few people understood it.
Its all best known to each individual why they feel they shouldn’t share their knowledge with others.
