Optimistic Rollups vs. ZK Rollups

I think this is the right board for discussion and I'm quite interested in this topic since there are lot debate on Twitter on what's the best regarding the two. This will be a self-moderated thread to avoid spam.

For you what's best with the two?

I am not a programmer or an application developer, so I will write a review as a user. Both solutions work fine and the difference is imperceptible to me, in one project, for example, the output to another network needs to wait for some time, up to a week, and the other project does it faster.

Yeah it has downside and I'm wondering, if currently the optimistic rollups project like Optimism and Arbitrum are working then comes the ZK Rollups, will they still exist and continue? For me, optimistic rollups is the solution for now then in the future once zk rollups is ready then that will be it's time to showcase the technology.
