not to question your decision but usually it is the last 2 numbers in the hash - that determine the winner.

for this block, the last 2 are:

00000000000000000000758c9dc8a0e18c260d25b75ecc93035afaafa6bfdbb1

61

as you did only 50 spots is that why you used just the 1?

but then what if it had been a "4" instead of a "6"?

would "41" have been the winner or would have "1" still have been the winner?

I would have to agree with Mopar. Single digit is good for a 16 spot raffle (0-9, a-f), but with 50 spots, you would have to take the last two digits and exclude any blocks where the last two are over 51.

Here are the blocks since the original selected block:
763,196 - 00000000000000000000758c9dc8a0e18c260d25b75ecc93035afaafa6bfdbb1 = 61
763,197 - 000000000000000000009bc854d34bff776dc53c0b587da5765ac49e69aab4eb = 94
763,198 - 00000000000000000005207ce70062b25e4d654c22cf65a1b642dbc920e7a7f0 = 70
763,199 - 000000000000000000064ebfc84a95e3fe2446e7abf6112cae5cf8ca95f53575 = 75
763,200 - 000000000000000000078efb893c59c5a381ce7bbf65c01bedc6f9524e51855a = 55
763,201 - 000000000000000000048232fcca7d559a194431c8bd8e2e3d79b73dca5dcdff = 35

Based on this 35 would be winner at block 763,201

Of course this is your raffle, so up to you mx12.levins.

Another way would be keep going 1 digit down the hash number until you get a 2 digit number below 50. If you use the first block the numbers would be 61, 56, 35. Winning number would be 35... whoaaaaaa must be a sign

This is also kind a interesting, going 1 digit down. I want to stick to the usual way and it's also more fun because you need to wait another block. But looks like we have winner who already won once the raffle?
