What you are doing is a mistake caused by inattentiveness. You get consumed by FUD and $200 is a huge amount for me. In addition, you are currently suspended for not being careful and checking your wallet address properly. I think this kind of case happens a lot to newbies who rush to send tokens to different chain addresses and the result is always bad. But just wait for confirmation from Huobi maybe you will get a miracle.

I made a grave mistake today and it was because of binance news, I went online and saw a tweet on Twitter about how danger is lurking around the Binance exchange right now and I was told to move whatever funds I have on Binance out.

I did this, I sent 200$ from Binance to Huobi exchange because I want to buy a coin that was available only on Huobi anyways but I sent USDT to the BSC chain on Huobi which unfortunately was suspended.

Now I tracked the Bsc address on Huobi the USDT was moved, is there any chance of getting my money back or it's a gone.

I think you should have moved the fund to a non custodial wallet where you can keep your fund for as long as you like. There had been many fud on Twitter lately because of the charges against Binance and this shouldn't make is scared of these news. Just like what happened to FTX that many investors loses there funds, and not it's looks like Binance is about to have a taste of what had happened to other centralized exchanges. Binance is a big exchange and I hope this current issues will melt down soon. If we are scared of keeping our funds on Binance exchange, then we can send it to our individual wallets for our own safety.

Yes I have learnt my lesson and it's not going to happen again, I have contacted the team and they gave me a form to fill with three video requirements, Tx hash and my full name written on a piece of paper with my signature on it, still waiting for their final move

This is just another example of why you should not copy your previously used addresses and just send funds without confirming the status of the address or wallet in an exchange you are sending funds to.

Exchanges can periodically suspend deposits due to wallet maintenance, coin delisting, etc. and the warnings are usually displayed when generate a deposit address. If you just send directly, you will only realize when it's too late.

Most likely you will get your money back, because what I know is usually it will be processed within the next 24 hours, so don't worry about the problem you are experiencing, of course it's not your fault, it's your ignorance that the token has been suspended by  Huobi, let's just say this is an important lesson for you, so be more careful in transferring your money to a wallet address that is not on hold, this problem is not just one time, many have even experienced the same thing, and all will return if you have filled out the form that has been  provided by the Huobi team..

Your fears and steps are unreasonable, why? what is the difference between Binance and Huobi both are exchanges that both have a chance of collapse and so on where you can lost money there.
I don't know if the exchange will be willing to correct your mistake but my guess is not because it would be a bother for them and usually the exchange will always give a warning about the chain difference when you want to deposit or withdraw with USDT.
The only thing you can do is to contact the exchange and provide detailed info maybe they will credit your money in your account although I doubt it

You moved from one exchange to another exchange when there are FUDs being spread about exchanges? Not the smartest move to be honest. Move to a non custodial wallet if you really want to keep your funds safe. Anyway, since you sent it to a wrong chain and they suspended (temporarily or permanently?) deposits from that network, very likely they do have access to your funds. You will need to contact support and ask them to withdraw the money for you. Likely there will be a fee you have to pay.

The panic that made the OP do something wrong that shouldn't have happened. See how when doing something in a panic and in a hurry, the result is like what the OP is experiencing. To be honest, I'm not sure that you will be able to get your money back. Usually, if everything is done correctly and everything works without problems, then all processes on crypto exchanges work well and you can always get your funds quickly or according to the conditions. Now the story around Binance has confused everyone and many how could you get into such a bad situation. However, it happens that when transferring cryptocurrencies, mistakes are made, for example, the wrong network is selected, then according to the conditions your funds are sold and you will not receive them anymore. I've seen the same query before but with other exchanges and there are some that they didn't get helped from the exchange itself and said, there's nothing they can't do with it.

But most of those, I've seen that they've got some help from them and told that they will never do it again if they do the same mistake.

That's not 100% OP's fault. He didn't know if the network on huobi was on maintenance. Huobi's support must help him as it's their customer money.

That is if there is only a maintenance but he said it was suspended. Being suspended can also mean permanent. He can still contact the Houbi team and see if they can do something about it. My mistake, I must have missed the information about the delisting of BSC-bep20 deposits, it's all in the past now as I got my refund yesterday evening, I was informed to keep an eye on my balance so I checked my Huobi spot balance and saw my 200$ balance in USDT.
