What serves as gas at QuickSwap DEX?

I am in confusion.

Should I transfer Quickswap coin to the wallet and it will serve as gas at QuickSwap?

Or I should transfer POL (ex-MATIC) coin to the wallet and it will serve as gas at QuickSwap?

Or am I mistaken and the gas at QuickSwap DEX is an Ethereum?

If I need to swap a 1000 tokens from the Ethereum network for Tether in the Polygon network? What will be the gas? Polygon or Ethereum? Or Polygon and Ethereum at the same time (The double fee? Will be taken from both networks at once)?

It's been sometime since i last used this exchange but assuming nothing has changed since then, you need to have POL (formerly known as MATIC) in your wallet since it's originally a Polygon POS exchange.

After matic was upgraded and migrated to POL, I have not used Quick Swap, but as of the last time that I made use of Quick Swap, it's a polygon exchange, and the gas fee is being paid by the network of use, so all you need is POL to cover up that gas fee for any transaction that you want to conduct there.

Totally depends on which network you're willing to trade. You can transfer POL to the wallet to use it as gas for swapping on the Polygon network. But, it may charge you a different token if you use a different network. This is because quickswap is supporting a lot of blockchains at this moment.

No, you shouldn't pay double fees. You just need to pay for the transaction you're sending...

So for a swap from Polygon USDT to Arbitrum USDC for example, you would need to pay the gas fees in POL/MATIC. Or at least that's how my experience was with cross chain swapping.

Yes that's correct. I'm not sure how much fees would that cost you as this depends on multiple factors but you may want to see if it would cost you less to simply deposit the USDT on a centralized exchange, and withdraw using another network (Polygon in this case). I would imagine that interacting with multiple smart contracts would just increase your fees compared to simply sending a normal transaction to an exchange.
