I am just hoping maybe Bisq becomes way more simplified, though it's no easy thing to do without compromising decentralization and security.

Some exchanges are very simple to use but they are centralized, and I agree that we should try to create better dex experience, especially few newbies.
There is ongoing Bisq Light Client Initiative Project supported by OrangeFren and eXch, that is aimed at making things more simple with Electrum wallet as base:
