I just came across this picture online today, and it made me wonder if this was really how PalmPay agents were harassing their customers who defaulted on their loans. Obviously, this is not funny. I just said I should share. What are your thoughts on this? Is this the right way to handle a customer who fails to repay their loan when the period is overdue?

At some point, I understand say the way them dey act lately (loan apps) dey so embarrassing and so harassing and e no make sense but in the other hand, una don take time to consider this loan apps as well?
Meh this companies dey really make plenty loss and e come be like people dey use evil pay the good them dey do and wether we like it or not, this loan apps dey really try because e no easy to just give out money to just any random person wey apply for loan and some of them go apply come throw away the sim or just believe say nothing go happen forgetting say na person business dem dey play with and this na life we dey always revolve.

Hence if you dey owe palm pay abeg try go pay name you too you rest.

The reason why loan apps been they use call finish people na because so many people go collect loans and would refuse to pay, these loan apps agents go call them tire, send them messages and they still no go gree pay, me i no like the idea of calling friends, family and relatives of the person wey take loan, because them been no they there when you give the person loan, they were never guarantors or sureties to the loan, so why you go they disturb them with calls. My main problem na with people wey no they gree pay back their loan, these loan defaulters are the real menace.

The harassment by this loan companies no be here, dem fit call reach your relatives wey dun die self but the main issue na say wen you dey register for this loans, dem no tell you say dem go call your relative oh if you no fit pay on time and besides this is invasion of privacy and na until this loan apps begin they exposed wetin apps wey dey your phone get access to people no for know say third party apps fit see your message, contacts etc. Dem dey hear but no dey believe until palmpay start to disgrace people.

Oyah the matter too dun enter google hand and dem dun drop update for the issue of loan apps having access to our contacts. Make una see as dem talk am below;

The people wey get the loan app, na business people wey come up with the initiative of loaning money to people. Me I like as government take implement these rules because those loan apps get problems.

Them go come de treten person say them go call ur relatives say u borrow money, and even if u letter pay, them don already spoil ur reputation, instead of them to have be patient for you to pay them their money.

Sometimes self, those apps na scammers, because some of them just they operate to get your personal information like BVN, and others just to blackmail you and scam some of your relatives by telling them you have been kidnapped or you have borrow money and u never pay which is very bad.

Yes ooo boss... Na wetin me self no like. These set of persons were never there when the deal was made so why bothering them with calls and messages? I come dey reason who the loan app dey take get the contacts of de loanee family and friends, e come struck me say na when de loanee sign up, him dey also give de app authorization over him contacts, so them go collect the contacts store am for their database. If de loanee no gree pay dem go begin to dey send messages and dey call him contacts.

I know that there are individuals who make this their style to collect loans from multiple loan apps with no intention to pay back which is bad, but on another angle and knowing how those money lenders in the old operate, it is possible that these loan apps and the people behind it use fetish means to ensure that paying back is difficult so they can make good profit from the interest that accumulates whenever you miss a deadline.

In general, Avoid loan apps if you can.

Fake loan apps in Nigeria mentioned in this item should be avoided like the plague, to be safe in all of your compact.
