I opened Coinmarketcap website and saw it changed to CoinMarketCrab. This change is confusing me.

Cap now is Crab
Coin now is Corn

You don't need to be confused, it's just part of the annual April Fool's event that continues to be held by CoinMarketcap, like what our forum is currently holding ^{(complete the Flappy Bird mission before posting the post)}

most of the internet companies must be doing it, and April 1st is one of the best dates to make jokes.

you're right, I was shocked by what happened, I forgot even though it's April, so a lot of jokes happened.

I saw this several hours ago, at the time it was still March 31st here and I knew it was a preparation for April 1st, at least it works, cos I laughed to hard about it, I am expecting more funny jokes from different platforms, the forum landed its own this morning, pretty hard to defeat the game, I can't even figure out how to play this game, it just seems impossible to beat.

Well, I see it. There's no need to be curious about everything when the date is April 1. Just look at the feature that we're seeing from the forum made by theymos. 
It's not really a big matter to be wary about and let everyone enjoy and don't cut the fun. I checked its counterpart, coingecko and see if there's also some April fools changes but nothing they have.
