Hello,

As an experiment, I have downloaded and built this miner.
https://github.com/tmrlvi/kaspa-miner
It starts but when I run it i get an error:

2023-03-31T23:14:51Z INFO  kaspa_miner] Found plugins: []
[2023-03-31T23:14:51Z INFO  kaspa_miner] Plugins found 0 workers
[2023-03-31T23:14:51Z ERROR kaspa_miner] No workers specified
Error: "No workers specified"

How do I specify a worker?? What am I doing wrong??

Thanks

I think you should try to provide some information to the program about what worker it should use. This information could include things like the worker's address, port number, and credentials.

You should consult the documentation or user guide for the "kaspa_miner" program to learn how to specify a worker. The documentation should provide detailed instructions on how to configure the program and provide it with the necessary information to connect to a worker. Try to provide the program with a configuration file or command line arguments that specify the worker's information.

Try an easier solution
https://miningpoolstats.stream/kaspa

https://solopool.org/  has long provided opportunities for fast solo mining, but explore this issue for yourself.

How It Works?
It' s solo mining pool.
It's a stratum over a coin node with many options.
Each miner works independently of the others.
The block reward goes to only the miner who found it.
Block search time depends on your hashrate and luck.

but the CPU version
https://github.com/elichai/kaspa-miner
from which it was forked works perfectly so I think the 'worker' must be to do with the GPU config. This is not explained (to me) in the documentation.

Breaking 🚨
$kas #rust implementation runs seamlessly on mainnet.
Implications: if all goes well, the first stable version of rusty-kaspa will soon be released, and then we start increasing block rates in testnet.
That's right, the #fastestpow is getting faster!
