Wallets selection should be done according to what your needs since if you want to transact daily and your not a long term holder then trusted wallet application is enough.

But if you are long term holder and don't want to move your balance everyday then pick those wallets which you can handle the keys or even grab a hardware wallet since this is the safest selection.

Also for exchange this is only meant for trading and not supposed to design to make it as your personal wallet where you can hold your balance their since anything could happen and we might get compromise on exchange for many reasons.
