Blockchain events: Entertainment or valuable experience?

Hello everybody! I have recently started to get interested in blockchain technologies. To delve into this topic, I started looking for information about upcoming blockchain events. And what I found - about 400+ events related to the blockchain : five of them, will be very soon.

And you know, I have analyzed these events, but there is one question left.
Who visits them?

Any blockchain events, conferences, webinars/seminars you are privileged to attend are an opportunity for you and are creative at the same time. This is a meeting to gain experience rather than entertainment as it's such that could create wealth for you if you eventually utilize it.

The wealth is in the area of investment and development as the case may be.

Those that are close to the locations of these events are the ones that goes there. And if you haven't seen it yet, we've got a section[1] dedicated for these meetups and events.

Although looking at the pages, there's not that much attention to it. But I don't know if in actuality how many do really attend these.

Blockchain events are mostly for networking among project developers and other stakeholders. It's not really the best place to learn something since a lot of information are already available online. If you wish to build connection with different people there then attending could be a valuable experience for you.

Personally, I see them as an opportunity to meet manufacturers or their representatives, who are rather difficult to contact the rest of the time.

It's a great way of networking, meeting people and negotiating things with hardware suppliers, or at least making contact with them.

Who visits them?

Professionals in the sector (manufacturers, miners, developers, traders) and also people who want to listen to well-known personalities in the field on very specific subjects.

I think the best thing for you, OP, would be to go to a few events and you'll be able to make up your own mind about them and their audiences very easily.
