Hello  bitcoiners, i hope we all are safe out there no matter what is happening at the world at large, recently seeing some HEADLINES news like the five (5) billionaires that are no where to be found on their adventure to see the titanic, like there is lots of headlines out there have came across tho, so mistakenly click on a moderator profile THIS ONE

 

yeah MININGBUDDY MODERATOR @ Beginners & Help https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 like he has been away since 2018 which we all can see in the image above.



Would like to get your thoughts on this because 2018 is quite a long time.

Indeed, it's been a long time.

 But there are still Global Moderators who can moderate where MiningBuddy was supposed to.

(I think this topic would be better in Meta than here, you should move it in my opinion)

I don't think he moderator anymore cause I don't see the Staff Badge in his profile. Here is the look of an active moderator's profile.



Probably Theymos removed him from moderation but forgot to remove the name.(correct me if I am wrong.

as far as I know, global moderators moderate the Beginners & Help board. if you are curious why MiningBuddy's name is still shown on Beginners & Help board as a moderator, I'm not entirely sure, but pretty sure there are assumptions that have been made, you can check the threads light_warrior shared if you are curious to find out.

You hit that right. It was discussed and answered too many times and google will probably give answers if asked like "inactive mod miningbuddy site:bitcointalk.org"

now thats a clear information, well something should be done to address it because its probably a long time and i think am not the only one who is optimistic about him not present anymore.

This is only partially true, since you can ask Theymos to hide your staff position. Just take a look at my profile.

Naturally I believe everyone here are from one local board or the other because only local board we always interacts with each others sometimes we meet each others through those that are mostly nearest or closer to each other.

The covid-19 was something very hard on people and his disappearance was far before the pandemic, no one knows what has happened to many of us and sometimes in situations like this we need to consult those who are from same locality with them to detect and know about the situation of those that are from same locality with them.

Locality is something very important which mostly connects us together and bring users closer than its. And also, Theymos knows his staff and who knows if he communicates with them?
I pray he should be safe anywhere he is now and let him or her come back to the forum.

No, all moderators also display as staff on their profile, but the moderator badge only appears on the board they've been made moderator of. On other boards, there will just be "staff".

Jesus, I'll have to look into what happened with that submarine disaster (it was a sub, right?), because I've seen a lot of people talking about it here but I don't watch the news--for mental health reasons, of course. 

In any case, what in the world does this have to do with a bitcointalk member who hasn't been active in about 5 years?  What exactly is this thread about, other than to drop an enormous image of MiningBuddy's profile page?  If I'm right and it's a garbage topic that no real answers can be given to, I'd advise OP to lock it so that it doesn't become a magnet for shitposters.
