I’ll recommend you use any cex exchange since you’re still very new to it. There are several that you can buy little amount of bitcoin from and still withdraw without having to undergo KYC verification.

Or if you could get someone that you know that wants to sell some of their coin, you can buy from them and that would be more safer.

You can purchase Bitcoin using exchanges, just like @ cantsay has recommended, it's adviced to use centralized exchanges as they are easier to understand and user friendly. But you have to check if such exchange are not restricted from your local area or country. I think you’ve already gotten the answer you deserve from the first two replies but adding to it is that you should always add two factor authentication to every thing including buying and selling of your coins and I wouldn’t want to mention names but I think Paxful(DYOR) is a nice place to get your coins including buying and selling without much stress as their entire process seems simple and they also offer some sort of escrow to make sure the funds are secure.

Well for starters, I think binance CEX is probably okay to use as it's very easy to navigate and you would probably get Bitcoin for a good rate through easy by either purchasing through p2p service. But then if you are planning to store and keep the coins for a long time, then I would advise that  you would probably move it out and save it in a more secure wallet, maybe a non-custodial wallet like electrum wallet.
