Hey guys

You can help us.

We have been working on kollektra.com - you can try it out today!

Currently you can:
- create an account
- search for collectibles and view details
- add to your portfolio

Features coming soon:
- View total value of your portfolio
- Track and get notification if there are price spikes
- Lots of UI improvements

For crypto coins we have collected data for Cas, RC and 1HODL coins. But we need more data! If you have any information please add missing crypto coins data here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HJYt5Fz3D-RTL9TF4nCkUpS3lMl-jyoV-1-yRBM_QiU/edit#gid=0

Also, any ideas/feedback you can give that will be great!

Regards
Team RC

Is the data entered stored on a server or locally?
I like the idea of a collectible tracking software or app that doesn't need your own excel-sheet. Just not a fan of storing data somewhere out there so that's why I'm asking.

Get educated about Bitcoin. Check out Andreas Antonopoulos on Youtube. An old but gold talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc744Z9IjhY

UPDATE 2024: Daniel Schmachtenberger on The Meta-Crisis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSx8j8lSewA Important talk about the current state of this planet and human society in general.

I created an account which was very easy and I searched the data base of collectibles
which are already listed.

I think its an interesting idea. Some questions though...

Will each users account be viewable only by themselves?
Will be be able to add items ourselves that are not listed going forward?
Why are there Watches listed, is the site designed to incorporate all manner of collectibles,
 not just Crypto related?

Because of the watches it reminds me of the site:

- search for collectibles and view details
In addition to all of the categories on the above spreadsheet, you might want to link each of the collectibles to their respective official pages as well.

- add to your portfolio
It'd be nice if we also had the ability to pick their conditions together with the prices that we paid for them.

- Track and get notification if there are price spikes
I'm not sure if you're planning to monitor only a specific place or many places but the latter would lead to a disaster [unfortunately, this should be the route if you want to do it accurately]!

BTW, I noticed a bunch of duplicate listings.

Answering all questions one by one

Firstly, thank you Eclipse33. Any feedback from you is highly valuable.

Hello RC,

If I understand correctly this appears to be a portfolio tracking application. Perhaps provide some insight as to your vision for the project so we can understand fully what you are aiming for.

That is correct. It is for managing, searching and tracking portfolio. Plus, a unique id per collectible.

Add investment feature: This is a tough one because prices depend upon if the coin is raw state, graded and slabbed by what agency.

We have added recent auction prices for some coins now and default BTC prices are supported i.e. if you add a loaded coin, we will tell you total value of your portfolio of all loaded coins. We will slowly add more coins and varieties, plus, addresses. We agree it is a tough challenge.

If you drop the watches and hammer down only on physical bitcoin price indexing your site could lead the space as I have seen no-one before attempt to create a robust price tracking engine for physical bitcoin.

That's a good point. If the user only adds crypto coins they will only see crypto collectibles. We can add a Radio button under search to only look for crypto collectibles. Sounds good?

BTW few LEALANA early coins have been added.

Thank you
Team RC

Thank you for the kind support. We are here to serve the community.

Yes

That's a great idea. How do you envision it to be working? Some sort of form that you fill on the site?

All collectibles but you can chose to only add crypto collectibles

Thank you. Looking forward to more feedback from you.

Is the data entered stored on a server or locally?
When using the website, your data is encrypted with your password and securely stored on the server. This ensures that your data remains private and inaccessible to others.

In the mobile app, you can choose to store data locally. However, please be aware that if you ever delete the app while using the local storage option, all your data will be permanently lost.
Storing your data on the server ensures that your information remains accessible across different devices and won't be lost unless you choose to delete your account.

Let us know what you think of these options.

Thank you

Yes, we will support this feature. When adding your collectibles, you can include them without any specific conditions for now. You can always edit them later if necessary.

Multiple sources of sales. Yes it is a difficult task but we are working on a price engine.

BTW, I noticed a bunch of duplicate listings.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue was due to the missing version information, such as "version 1," "version 2," or "series 1," "series 2," in the names. We have now fixed those issues.

That's all folks! Please keep on leaving your feedback!

Regards
