I think its hard to quit gabling totally (especilly adicts) and keep to the discipline for a very long time, Gabling is more spiritual than physical. An addicted gambler is in little or no control of his gambling habits. The point that I get from this topic is that it is self-control that determines whether a gambler can stop gambling even though the gambler is not an addict and it is not money that determines whether or not a gambler can stop gambling.

Okay. I always like discussions about how to stop the habit of gambling, even though during my time on gambling boards I have often come across discussions like this before.

Not being able to control yourself is also called an addiction because it is an action that has psychological origins. For me, setting gambling goals must be carried into one's soul before entering into gambling.

i often gamble but i don't feel that i am addicted to it, nor do i think that i have had any losses due to gambling so far.  anyway, if you often gamble but that activity doesn't affect your finances or your personal relationships then there is nothing wrong with that, while those who are ruined financially and also in their personal relationships because of gambling are those who are unable to control their jealousy and also have good management in gambling.  i think it has been discussed many times that before starting to gamble, every player needs a good strategy, the aim of which is not to lead to stupid actions such as debt or criminal acts.

Well, quitting an addiction is never easy and I don't want to blame anyone who falls for it; we don't know what they might be going through to be in that situation in the first place.

Agree with. It's okay to become disappointed after losing in gambling, it's normal, as long as outside their gambling activity, they maintain their self being a responsible person. It's not easy to deal with big losses that's why I salute those gamblers who remain calm despite that bad experience.

I believe that one of the biggest causes is idleness!
The person who is not yet addicted and is aware that the odds of winning in gambling games are not in their favor, generally continue playing because they have nothing else to do, or even there is, but online games are the way to entertainment that is more accessible.
You see... the number of gambling addicts skyrocketed during the pandemic, which was exactly the time when people spent more time at home, with nothing to do and easy access to the internet and electronic games.

It is bad if they can't stop gambling. It can be a sign that they are getting addicted to it. Not all people are the same, this is why you find it easy right there to stop gambling. For me, I only find it hard to quit gambling if I'm on the winning side because in my head, I think that I still have a lot of money to bet on but if I'm losing, there is no choice but to stop even if I still haven't enough yet.
