Interesting, why MyBB for a news site, WordPress is highly recommended for news sites, they have an array of news magazine themes, and many of these are free I have never encountered a MyBB for a news site but it's possible, and it worth exploring, what is your goal in creating a news site in MyBB.

That software does not have what I need for a unique news site.

The site is in php, so I have no issues with functionality.   I have an excellent graphics designer, so I need someone who is familiar with mybb theming.  CSS especially - I always have issues with responsive CSS on mobile vs desktop.

I know this for desktop, I was doing it for clan sites when I was like 12-14 years old. But not on myBB and mobile wasn't really a thing back then and even now I'm not the best at mobile optimization for standard sites.  But I could possibly help.

It would have been a good 8 years ago but I used to work on plugins and themes for MyBB. I don't believe it should have changed much!

It's been a while, if you don't recall I worked with you on the original BPIP ext.

I don't have commercial myBB experience but I've used it years ago to test coding. It's a php forum so it shouldn't be a problem to tweak the CSS or any other part of code. I'll try to help if you send details for each mod.
