If this same scam attempt happens to your friend,  it point to one obvious assumption that the scammer me be from a close friend or someone close to you guys.

The best way to handle such acam attempt is to call the person on phone to speak with them,  don't send money to strangers,  we should be smart enough,  in fact, such scam attempts are from within for them to have gotten vital information about your mum to be able to convince you to look for the money show how deep and close the scammer is,  but just as I said always verify any call or text from a family member by calling to hear from them personally by all means possible.

Bro this kind of scam matter fit no be say the scammer dey close to your family, Dem fit just dey guess because that first time wey the call scam Dem first start to dey rain, wey Dem go call you say dem from your bank make you send Dem your OTP from your sim. Those people wey be dey package am na guess Dem been dey guess, so I believe say even if the person no know about your family r fit still guess make the details for dey some how correct, though e also looks obvious say those people fit know you. But the main tin na be say make we nor dey rush to send person money for cases like this wey we never confirm from family people to know weda na truth or lie.

I experience such thing on Thursday but not too serious like this and the scammer no even get sense the first place, I receive a call on Thursday the person even called my name asking me to send money for what I ordered say them don dey waybill the thing come, the first thing wey come my mind I no even buy anything online so what's the waybill for, that moment I just back off and I said wrong number but deep down I know say na scammer. I dey hear similar stories like this mostly whatsapp hack and pos transfer but the surprising part be say people still dey fall mugu to show say no be who smart pass, thanks for the update.
