Hey everyone, I've recently come across this platform called Remitano.com and I'm a bit on the fence about it. Has anyone here used it before? I'm looking for a reliable way to trade cryptocurrencies, but I'm always cautious about new platforms. Is Remitano legit and safe to use? Any insights or personal experiences would be really helpful. Yes, Remitano is legit. But my experience with the exchange for centralized P2P is not good. CBN has unban bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and other payment options would be available by now on the exchange.

To trade future and perpetual trading, you will need other exchanges like Binance, OKX, Kucoin etc. Also that Remitano has just few coins, unlike those mentioned that has as many as possible coins and tokens.

Remitano is very legit , it is one of the safest crypto exchange I have ever used and on the scale of 1-10  I will sincerely rate Remitano 9  because they are very reliable and not prone to scam .

Remitano is very legit , it is one of the safest crypto exchange I have ever used and on the scale of 1-10  I will sincerely rate Remitano 9  because they are very reliable and not prone to scam .

Remitano has been here for long and for a local exchange it has quite been good over others, but the statement of been safe is something I don’t understand because if it is about storing coins then it is never safe just like any other exchange out their including the biggest ones like binance and KuCoin. As for P2P then it’s mixed because some traders are actually slow and it depends on the how exchanges handle that and I have seen complaints in this Remitano though about that. But overall they are not a scam exchange but that doesn’t warrant storing coins there though

UPDATE: I've started using it and it seems legit. What really convinced me was the quick and easy trading process. It's like 2 or 3 steps fewer than other apps I've tried. I'll continue to see how it performs...

It depends on how you define the legitimacy. If you are just looking at just an exchange, yes it's legit but if you are looking at peer to peer exchange then no, it's not a legitimate peer to peer exchange. It's custodial and centralized, which means they can hold/block your funds at any time and ask for KYC.

Why not try out others that don't request for KYC like HodlHodl, Agoradesk etc.

Ok. That is good to hear for you. Remitano is a nice exchange platform. I have been using remitano for one and half year before I switched to Binance and one of the features I was using in remitano is not found in the Binance app. Like in remitano you can sell directly to the app without selling to any vendor. Once you sell like the money will enter the remitano wallet as the local currency then in your turn you only send it to Nigerian Bank Account.

There is no price difference in the both. Remitano might even easier than Binance in term uses.
