Maybe what you're trying to say is that it is unnecessary to allow bitcoin price to drop too much before investing into it as  it would take time and their is no certainty that it would drop to that amount. This is true and like some other posts have also suggested, their is no need for you to wait till the price of bitcoin get to $18k before investing. As a new person that hasn't invested yet, you can still do it now which in your analogy could be that you can still swallow the rice now without waiting to grind it to a fine finish.

I have come to realize that in the race of life one shouldn't always be in a haste to achieve whatever because in the process of rushing you may end up not achieving anything at all

When it comes to investment it's a different situation compared to eating of food. Investment especially in bitcoin is not good to be rushed, because if rush into it without proper planning, and making every necessary arrangements, you might still rush and sell it off when the hard time hits.
