How you open large files?

I want to open a large txt file over 12GBs do you know any way to open it? Notepad and VS code do not works. It will be awesome if you share them for other extensions too

Maybe that will work for opening it. How did that text file became that huge? Did you just downloaded it or it's fully loaded with codes and it's being required for you to open it?

Try also some command lines if you are good at it. I don't know a lot from the CL but maybe could be good enough to give it a try.

You can use edit or type command in Windows command prompt.

edit filename.txt

type filename.txt

If you are looking for an application apart from Notepad++, you can also try Sublime Text editor : https://www.sublimetext.com/

12GB text file, is that code file? anyway I was going to suggest you VSCode but you are saying it doesn't work.
so, you can try "Large File Editor" Search it on google, you'll find it

Notepad++ If it gets slow, try turning off syntax highlighting and setting language mode to "Normal text" for better performance

Hopefully you can try with wondershare and you can search in youtube and watch a video tutorials better to help you how will be open large files.

For opening large files I think notepad ++, virtual code editor software are very effective and very good.
