This is the most important milestones:

1. Deposit open, estimate time: 2/2024. Minimum deposit to become validator, estimate: 1000-3200 CAU.

2. PoS sidechain start after reach minimum 100 deposits.

3. Merge from PoW to PoS, estimate 5/2024.

4. Enable offline mining (PoW) on mainnet, estimate end of May, at the Hydro fork.

After step 4 is completed, Canxium become a fully hybrid chain: PoS + PoW (offline mining).

In simple terms, Canxiums’s offline mining enables miners to mine CAU without needing a continuous internet connection. With offline mining, miners don’t need to rely on centralized mining pools and internet connections. You can mine CAU from any place in the world with just your mining devices.
