After purchasing Copper membership  it will allow a newbie account to use a few features of Member rank. I have mostly seen Copper membership being purchased by those who want to post images in the forum. Copper member is the only rank you can buy. A paid rank-up is made available for people who want to promote some business/service; not for people to just skip the line of earning merits/activity fairly and quickly ranking up to hopefully get a chance to join a bounty campaign.

The forum is no longer collection donations or handing out the VIP/Donator status for some time now, check the third paragraph^[1]. This makes Copper membership the only paid membership rank that forum users can acquire.

When forum members asked theymos to reduce the bitcoin requirements in donation to get Donator, VIP badge, theymos said that some reasons he will not reduce it.

Forum is bitcoin forum and payments should be in bitcoin. Donation should be made in bitcoin and considered in bitcoin amount, not in fiat equivalent value. I knew years ago he opened Grincoin for Copper membership payment, but that method was not applied for Donator/ VIP badge in donation.

Theymos said that forum has deep budget for operations many years and no longer need more donation.

I don't know if there will be another member sends 10 bitcoin or 50 bitcoins to the donation address, will theymos refund it or still accept it and give that member a Donator or VIP badge.

Since you are a new forum member, I will advise you. They girls don't know how you got here. Congratulations. If you want to do well in the forum, you need to know, read, and understand, and then slowly, you will also understand and know better. I wouldn't say I liked your post about buying that membership on the forum. If you spend time learning about the forum rather than purchasing a membership, you will automatically earn merit and increase your rank. So you'll have a good time on the forum without buying a membership, learn a lot, and know a lot.

If the OP's goal is to run a business on the forum, maybe buying a Cooper Member might give him a short step in getting the privileges that a Member account has. We often see things like this for new accounts that become bounty managers. but don't know the real motive of the OP. if you want to become a regular forum member, it shouldn't be difficult. In fact, many new accounts can also rise in rank in a short time.

Haven provide the OP with the requested link, I think it is also of good to let him know that he can be more than a junior member by his Activities and merits counts which can be attained by his activeness in the forum and as well his quality posts.

Regarded the fact that he/she is admitted to be a newbie, there might be a misconception to his little understanding to think that he can only rank up by buying an account such as the copper memeber just as demanded. So even if he you go ahead with it, let it be atleast be cleared to him/her.
