Unfortunately not and surely these tokens together with the mining of Athene,Pi Network and others are making this realm a boring one,unfortunately gone are the times when a mining rig could make you at least some profit and people or exchanges are coming up with all sort of airdrops to make people aware or hooked.If no ETH comes again into mining then there will be no real altcoin mining again,sure the ASIC-s makers are making new devices every day like those with low wattage to keep at home yet they remain ASIC-s,once that algorithm is not profitable anymore you cannot redirect your miner somewhere else,like you do with mining rigs.Times have changed indeed.
I am against ASICs for altcoins. I would buy an ASIC for mining Ethereum Classic, but I don’t like the payback period. If I buy an ASIC with the hope that the price of a coin will increase by $50 or $100, then it’s easier for me to buy a coin and wait.
For other altcoins, buying ASIC can be a big risk. But there is nothing to discuss now except click mining. I'm poking project Blum
