Hello folks,

I need a help of people (highly skilled programmers and developers with an in-depth knowledge of how the crypto space operates) in order to find where my stolen cryptocurrency has gone.
If you could localize where my funds are now and if it is possible to recover them, I will share with you further details.

My wallet in the Truset Wallet platform was hacked and USDT stolen.

Please help!

Transaction Hash   0xc1243a2038ebbd761305055e63389623dfbece3b043e106ec834909b10f051f6
BlockNo   19780251
DateTime (UTC)   02.05.2024 05:07
From   0x947141153c8fB15255bEeB20686b3e2d6541F212
To   0x07829FC66c5b7F294Db07690bBc415F3dfCBf8c9
Value   27,270.565089
Token   Tether USD (USDT)

There is no need to share details because you will never know who owns the wallet that your coins were moved to.

Trust wallet is a closed source wallet that is prompt to hack, you are not advised to keep your coins in a closed source wallet, open source wallets are more preferred to closed source wallets.

Maybe you have someone close to you who have access to your private key who might have logged in and move your coins, but there is no any platform responsible for recovering your lost coins even exchanges cannot do that.

So sad mate. Once the wallet is hacked recovering stolen funds is very difficult or almost impossible. You should have used a hardware wallet. Almost often we are facing such situation. Yet we are not aware.  As a result, hackers are taking this opportunity. Trust wallet, Metamask all wallets are being hacked. I use Trust wallet just for Dex trading not for crypto storing

Op in the cryptocurrency world you can only trace the location (recipient) of the stolen funds but you can't know the person who did it. But if it is within centralized exchanges then you can contact the customer service to freeze the coin of the compromiser end. But if it is On-Chain then you coins are list forever. And even you provide the addresses of the transaction nobody can solve the problem but you alone. Because you are the owner of the coins and the app. So you are to chat groups f live chat on the app to solve the problem.

That's exactly what I want to do now - trace the location/recipient of the stolen funds after this transaction: 0xc570a37440748102def52b24d2c5b2b41b29ca851b7a81e5a3e91a3c6cd1b405

Could somebody help to find the current location in the chain after the transaction: 0xc570a37440748102def52b24d2c5b2b41b29ca851b7a81e5a3e91a3c6cd1b405? This is one piece from the whole amount.

Hold on, have you contacted the centralized exchange site? You can try to ask binance for this. KYC is mandatory to use binance. The hacker is obviously verifying their identity on binance. It's impossible to trace their location if you refer this as IP address or something else.

As someone traced in the previous page if your funds gone to the centralized exchange sites. Im sure that the hacker used deposit address that is also linked to the hacker's identity.

Yes, that is a good information and I do what needs to be done for the parts I know - just do not want to disclose details. I am trying now to track further movements of the funds after this transaction: 0xc570a37440748102def52b24d2c5b2b41b29ca851b7a81e5a3e91a3c6cd1b405 and I need help here.

Even, the coin/token ended on exchange.

Do the exchange are gonna process those? Let's be honest most the phishing, hacker and other things is always mixing their money before send to exchange and another way is to using (Fake ID).

They could just using (FAKE) ID for the exchange, ID are really cheap.

It would be good if you can also describe better about what happened. This will help others know what and how to avoid it. And I think you mean trust wallet, so it’s likely that you made the mistake to let them in. Sorry for your loss but above all I hope the experience helps you somehow. For instance, out of experience I am careful what website or platform I connect my wallet to and even when I do, I disconnect it as well.

It seems that it's not the case with this one because the hacker used a CEX as a conduit to transfer if not move some of the stolen funds and if OP would pursue with this investigation, it would be a big possibility that they'll be able to find the person that's behind this hack since they made a mistake of having the self-custodial wallet being connected to a centralized exchange, especially with Binance which does KYC right from the get go. Hopefully, OP doesn't stop in regards to this problem, I hope that whoever hacked you would face the justice that they deserve, please keep us updated with what's currently happening.

If OP will just solely ask this then maybe he cannot get any help from exchange since maybe they will just give a reasoning that he is the one who's responsible of making his funds safe so provably that t there's higher chance that he will get ignored by the exchange. But maybe if he will seek help for authorities and the officials will demand that exchange to cooperate with them to trace the  hacker then provably there's something good will happen in this case.

But this is long process and I think it will just give a lot of stress on the side of OP. And this issue should be reminder for OP and other people that they should be aware to know how to make their funds safe from any possible hacking and other things that can cause them to lose their money. So hopefully there's a lesson to be learn for his experience.

Here: "they made a mistake of having the self-custodial wallet being connected to a centralized exchange"

- which wallet exactly do you mean and is it connected to Binance?

Hopefully, OP doesn't stop in regards to this problem, I hope that whoever hacked you would face the justice that they deserve, please keep us updated with what's currently happening.

Here: "they made a mistake of having the self-custodial wallet being connected to a centralized exchange"

- which wallet exactly do you mean and is it connected to Binance?

I guess the one who stole your funds came across Binance and that's the connection he is talking about because centralized exchange requires KYC for withdrawal so if the person deposited the funds to exchange then there is no way that he could have withdrew it without giving his identity to the platform so if you able to convince the Binance platform then they are the one who can give the information.

In my opinion, it seems like exchanges have limitations when it comes to assisting users whose wallets have been compromised. And. users providing proof or evidence of their hacked wallets, it appears that exchanges are unable or unwilling to take action to block or recover funds on behalf of the affected individuals.

Much to always secure the assets because once they get hacked, it is impossible to recover the loss.

Just my two cent.

Is it possible following: to find out by the IP address of criminal the ISP and afterwards an identity of criminal in that respective ISP?

Tracking Report Updated.

https://www.breadcrumbs.app/reports/11165

Looks like the address has seen funds from Kraken and sent to Binance and done swaps for WETH.

You should contact the exchanges and send them the breadcrumbs link and let them know your funds are being sent in.
Maybe the person has KYC so you could also report the stolen funds and give them the information of the exchanges linked to the address.

Exchanges doesn't respond to these kind of requests unless they gain so much attention so first step should be register a complaint and then he can proceed with the above ad a proof that the funds or the address has trail from the exchange then they might be willing to give details about the customer details but still I don't think he should have his hope higher cause usually it's like gone forever unless some miracles happens.

Actually they do if you have law enforement contact them. You need to be fast though and normally the authoritys have no clue about crypto in general but I have had sucesss in recovering close to 100k over the last 3 years for people with fast reporting and the person who lost the fund sending the corrospondence.   Few of the cased the funds were frozen and took 3-4 months before they were released but they are paying attention and they do freeze accounts if the correct law enforcement response happens quickly enough.

Not only that these accounts are KYC'd so one slip up from the theif and its game over for them.

Not to mention they lose there accounts.

So far I have never heard of a stolen wallet being recovered by its owner. Even though we know the recipient's wallet address, we cannot know the whereabouts of the thief. So in my opinion, make this a valuable experience for you so that in the future you can be more careful in protecting the assets you have because if it has been hacked, 99.99% of the time we can't get it back.
