What really makes the difference from other blockchain?

     Each blockchain network has its own so-called specialization op. The only good thing about TON now since it's new for me is that it's good to go along with it, right? Such is the state of TON now, and its state in the market is also good in terms of market capital and volume trading so far.

     And the good thing about Ton is that this is the first time that he will face the bull run, which is a good chance for those who believe in it according to my analysis and observation that can be seen in him. That's why I am also saving it gradually, at least.

Probably, it is because Tom is tightly related to Telegram as platform, which is a very popular application among crypto users. Also, it seems Ton is faster and has more changes than being used as an actual medium of exchange, among users whom like to chat on Telegram and interact with others there.
If Telegram somehow managed to get more users, to the level of rivalizing with Whatsapp, then Ton could become a de facto internet currency, though, that is very far from happening as things stand nowadays, and Meta gave up on their plans to launch their own Fiat backed stablecoin long ago.

By the way, I recently read on the news that the Blockchain of TON was going to start to support USDT, which is important, for obvious reasons. Time will tell whether people will start to ditch TRON as the network to move their stablecoins and use TON instead.

What really makes the difference from other blockchain?

To be honest, there's nothing makes ton differences with other blockchain in term of blockchain specification. then, read my explanation below.

1. Fees, Ton fees is still considerably high, if other L2 blockchain may cost you less than 1 cent, but again, Ton blockchain will cost you above 1 cent, which is closer to the 2 cents/0.02 TON
2. Scalability, Ton is not a fast blockchain like other blockchain.Still, your transaction may be delivered instantly, but it will not be as fast as solana/sui. Currently, ton has around 175 TPS
3. User base, since ton is fully integrated with telegram, then, it helps ton to get instant demand, but again, being fully integrated with telegram didn't make ton became a blockchain with the biggest userbase.

Telegram integration is the only power that makes TON blockchain look different in comparison with another blockchain.

the taps game that successfully attracted hundred millions of player does give the impression that everyone sought after TON but really its just a hype that eventually gonna fades. but undeniably the valuation of ton still high anyway even without those.

I think honestly, the main reason that could cause Toncoin to be having FDV of 36 billion with market cap of 18 billion because its tightly coupled with matured telegram ecosystem, who don't know telegram anyway, i think people that have dealt with messaging knows very well the presence of telegram so I guess that does help the popularity with the blockchain, just see telegram stat it consists of 700 million monthly active users, you'd expect with a little bit effort telegram could at least convert certain percent of that userbase to use their blockchain. not to mention that so many projects are actually having telegram as their way of communication to the supporter or community, even more so few years back when discord wasn't really popular. so it already got the benefit of already establishing a brand and passing it to the toncoin.

if you compare with other blockchain though, maybe the speed is what stands out compared to other blockchain like ethereum, but one big disadvantage I heard that top 100 ton holders hold 93% of the coins.

Well concerning gas fee, it is zero fee in all  exchanges but what durov really emphasize on is security and stability
