Where to create airdrops realted threads?

Hey there,

I will lock this thread immediately I convince myself to avoid useless discussions. I have started participating in Airdrops lately and have made roughly 0.8K USD, and many are in the pipeline. I believe there is a huge opportunity to make money. I know the forum does not allow posting ref links, but I want to help the community members with airdrop information so they can make some pocket money.

I want to create a single thread where I will post about new airdrops and old airdrops updates/information. The problem is that I don't understand where the thread will fit most. Does it fit in the Altcoin Discussion board? Or the sub-board Bounties (Altcoins)? I guess there will be a lot of spammers with bounty reports.

Or do you think it's time to create a new sub-board?

The Tokens (Altcoins) sub board on the Announcements (Altcoins) board will be fine for such threads. It clearly states in the description,

Announcement threads for tokens, which are altcoin-like things built on top of other cryptocurrencies.

and I can see most airdrops announcement threads there, so i guess its better on that board.

Since airdrop rewards are basically paid in Altcoin, I think the Altcoin discussion board will be good for it, or the bounty side of the Altcoin section might even be a better place to place such a thread. 
 
But having a dedicated subboard for airdrop won't be bad at all; at least anyone visiting will know what they are going for and save themselves the stress of the bounty auto-authentication post.

If the topic is an announcement type like you are announcing you will post regular update about airdrops then it is best fit on the Announcements (Altcoins) board. If you are posting each topic for each airdrop then I guess it belongs to the Tokens (Altcoins) board.

If it is a topic to announce and distribute airdrop on behalf of an altcoin project, it's not allowed. For discussion only, it's allowed.

Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

But I am not going to create announcement threads for any projects as I am not working on them. But I want to help the community members with the information.

For example, A project named Blum collaborated with OKX and Binance, and they are going to be listed there. I will post this update in my existing thread. So, it is kind of an announcement of new airdrops and the discussion thread as well, where people may ask questions about the project, and I want to help them with info.

Seems a majority of the people agree with Announcements (Altcoins). But I thought it would better fit in the Altcoin discussion since people will discuss the project in a single thread.

I used to be active in that thread, but now I'm starting to just tell you about which claims are from the airdrop.

Yes you can create your own thread with the title you want, it may have to be self-moderated to avoid spam.
But I would love it to be on the altcoin discussion board or altcoin speculation it's the same thing, even when I don't know maybe I can discuss there, obviously lately I always chase airdrop tasks and of course have made quite a bit of money.

Since you are not announcing the airdrop for the companies and you are basically offering a service to the community I would put a thread in Service discussions(altcoins). Assuming you are just going to use the same thread for multiple airdrop infos.

Wow I never knew such a thread existed and it's being active, I guessed it will be better Learn Bitcoin, just joined there.

I'm actually moved to go into Airdrop again though I know about the risk but it's becoming better like before again and I would love to earn from it to get more Bitcoin.

Okay. Thank you everyone for your input. I convinced myself that I should create the thread on the service discussion (altcoins) board, and I hope that it will fit there. I will create a thread tomorrow and release some guides regarding what people should know before they start joining crypto airdrops. I am locking this thread. Thanks again!
