It's almost the end of Q2, and memecoins are still thriving. Not gonna lie—memes are actually the fastest way to make money in the crypto space, but also the most volatile.

I’m saying this because of what I witnessed with LABUBU. Yeah, I know—funny name, but a cool narrative.

It’s the hottest toy in Asia and went haywire after its TGE, hitting an ATH of over $48M in market cap. It’s still trending with solid buzz on X and Reddit. I’ve even spotted it on some T1 exchanges—this one’s looking like another meme runner.

How it fares after a few months is still debatable, but for now, it's a solid watch IMO.

Labubu is just another moodeng, pengu, and doodle. It moves up due to the it's started with low marketcap, which means people are joining in that pump due to the hype, not interest.

This token has been exist since last year, and why is it just pumping now? it's all due to the people who getting FOMO of it on Bitget.

Believe me or not, it will be going down again in matter of time. Maybe, a month of a week.

But looks like they won't get the same hype again and this token will perform the same as other shitcoins got dumped especially if the dev is done taking their profit also the investors start to abandon their token or project.

Better for people to avoid this shitcoin since for sure that they would just lost their money on this token.

If this is what they're doing, they're quite late. The trend and hype was already gone, the peak was already met and I don't think that it will be back to that height. These hypes that these devs are trying to get into is not that good at all. Although the obviousness of these projects when they were made, the timing isn't even perfect at all. Yeah, I agree that it's best to avoid these type of shitcoins because they're just going to suck up people's hard earned money and those that are into this, they're also going to quit eventually for repeating their mistakes for chasing the wrong projects.

My advice is not to go in and buy, but if you are curious and ready to throw away a few dollars, go ahead. But this is definitely not an option that anyone would recommend. $Labubu is trying to find a sensation, but unfortunately if people who know about Labubu will definitely think this trend is old and no longer viral. Isn't that how shitcoin works? Funny names, jokes, etc will make it easier to attract beginners to fall into the scammer's trap?

that is a trendy brand making plush toy monster elves but as a memecoin it makes sense but i doubt there is any real cool narrative they are notoriously expensive though (the toys, not the tokens)

trends come and go so better to take advantage of current ones because they might disappear soon just like with labubus they are trendy now but i doubt it would continue to be for a long time same with the memecoin

Sounds like pump and dump, the meme trenches can see a stone on the road and make ticker for it.
If it pumps, good, it's time to cash out, like other said, don't hold the bag for too long or you will become the loser of the market.

It's a memecoin though so that's expected. I think the platform gave it more hype. Didn't know it's been on since last year. Btw, what do you think about BSC memes like $Z?

The sentiment on X is good and I just checked the price trend. It's also decent. Thinking of scalping for a quick one.
