I've heard news about people(including kids) dying playing it. I don't see people "playing" this "game" without being very intoxicated, being pressured or being forced to play it. no one in their right mind would risk their life to play such a life-threatening game.

Kids? Really surprised on this. I'm not sure as well on how betting really happens on this game; is it only between the one who shoots and one who would be on the roulette or audiences gets the chance to bet as well? Eitherway, seeing how things would happen will bother you if you are not into such thing involving deaths and injuries.

sadly yes, kids have fallen victim to this "game", if you search "Russian roulette deaths" you'll find articles about kids dying because of trying this "game", kids are easily influenced so I am not surprised that there are kids who tried playing it and end up dying

I don't really know, and to be honest I could care less how the betting on this game works.

I don't think that is exist on any casino because people can die if they lose. But that's also gambling games but with life for the bet. I guess that game still exist but not with a gun in their head or body because that can risks of die. That will only in a film, especially for an action movie that makes a bet with their opponent and will kill them with one shot. Many people playing Russian Roulette on casino but they uses a different material and not risks their life.

Maybe in the past, that thing is for a duel between two man and trying to beats each other. They uses life to bet which will not allows in this era. Maybe you can finds that in the underground life which many bad people doing many things to gain recognition from his opponents.

Did you really ignore the wider context of the game as illustrated in all of the films you watch? It is usually played in a similar vein to picking the short straw, in scenarios where you need a random way to get rid of someone which is completed by spinning the barrel. It's either done to show how crazy a person is, that they are willing to throw away their own lives based on random luck by doing it to themselves, or in order to make a hard decision easier by leaving it up to random fate. Nobody is playing this game seriously, because the outcome for the players means that they will all lose their lives eventually and there are no sane people who would partake in it often due to the strong urge towards self preservation.

That game is very dangerous; in fact, such a game is not even supposed to be made legal in any part of the world, not just some part, because it's completely violent and could be considered one of the most deadly games for someone.
 
Imagine playing it in an open society, and if such a game is made legal, how many lifeless people will they be taking out of the game hall on a daily basis?

This reminds me of gladiators fighting in old Rome and Spartan where people sit in an open arena to bet and watch how two or more gladiators fight in a duel till death. However, the Russian roulette as it is called is kinda different from that of the gladiators, been that, the gamblers decides to take part in this type of gambling out of their own consent or in dare circumstances.  It is only in the movies I have watched these games but never in real life. And the reason is that no government that value the lives of her citizens will give any form of legality to such insane game.  It is suicidal and should be discouraged even from movies scenes.

Of course, no one plays it, it’s more like a movie cliche and it’s like the term for a 1 on 1 duel. Bandits of warring factions played such a game in the mid-90s and that’s where it all fell off.Over all this time, this game has acquired legends and speculation, but in fact it will be very difficult to find real evidence of this game.

It is a suicidal game, and it is illegal. No government will agree to this kind of game; this only happens in war where the prisoners are forced to take this game, based on what I see in movies.

If this game exists, then it exists underground only desperate people on life will play this game, I will not play this game even if the prize is huge since I cannot enjoy the prize.

Of course it does,in mafia films or in some remote part of the world where people are still stupid enough to accept such type of game  .In real life this only exist in theory and people know that the Russian roulette is that the gun gets loaded with one bullet and if you happen to hit the trigger in that position you will hit someone hard,sometimes leading to loss of life.I don't know yet of any people who will accept to play such game unless someone is full in debts and was thinking of taking his own life as he does not see any relief or any solution to his problem,that is the only type of the person who can accept such game as the only try to get rid of the debts.This is some game which should in no way be promoted as some people may get intrigued to it leading to huge bad consequences for them.

To answer your question it's not really considered as Game, it's considered as Suicide or murder in legal terms so don't challenge the system cause there are many incidents people went to prison for attempting such things.

So called "Russian roulette" is more of a Cinema scene rather than a reality. There's close to zero situations where it would make any sense to play "Russian roulette" as if human life was a game. And to a large extent it's a cruel joke on Russians to dehumanize then on the west. I'd say don't pay too much attention on a cold war joke. It's still being used to make Russian people seem cruel and inhumane when in reality they are just like us, facing similar or exactly the same struggles in their daily lives.
