Key features of the new app include a 360-degree view of assets, the ability to connect various wallets, and tools for creators to mint and share NFTs directly on the platform.
“By consolidating your wallets and providing a comprehensive 360-degree view of your portfolio, we aim to reduce inefficiencies and frustrations,” Coinbase explained to Bitcoin.com News on Thursday. “Plus, with the simplicity of smart wallets, users can get onchain and engage in minting, creating, or trading in seconds.”
Coinbase has integrated its smart wallet technology to allow for gasless transactions on select mints and direct onchain payments from Coinbase accounts. This move is part of Coinbase’s broader strategy to consolidate its onchain products and enhance user experience.
