Heating Pool with S19 Pro 110TH for ~$1670 CAD

Canadian dollars: Asic was $900, water cooling kit around $600, $20 for paste, ~$50 for pump and hoses, $100 for stainless steel garden hose warrantied for 5 years (needed 150 ft) (hopefully corrosion proof counts pool chlorine )

If I bought the radiator and pump from a mining store it would have been $1000 so I saved a decent amount here.

I lose about 10% on power to bitcoin mined but I'm saving like 70% on my pool heating bill versus gas. Video is from before I changed some stuff around and added 100ft of hose. Image is what it now looks like.

Lowest braiins os allows which is 2483 I believe, may pump it up once I know its running smooth for sure...but maybe not depends if I wanna swim hahaha.

2500 watts = around 8500 btu it may be enough for the pool

Thanks! Hopefully so, I assume running 24/7 it'll warm it up a bit, maybe make it usable in summer.

If you cover it at night it will get warmer faster and hold the heat better.

Even a lower cost tarp will help.

I used two sections of pipe to get it wide enough bolted the tarp to it.
rolled it up and attached one end of the tarp to a safety fence.

then unrolled it .  the tarp wont last a long time ,  but its a cheap fix to get the pool heated up.

and keep it hot over night if you get cool at night.

Definitely, only issue is I'm incredibly lazy Well also West coast so nights are pretty warm.

That and this is my moms house and shes supposed to sell in a month or two. We used to use a cover but my dad let it get overgrown with growth and I assume even if I dug it out it would be too damaged to use.

Right now got the new extender on and it's running I'm going to see how much it warms up in a day.

Funnily enough as the chips get hotter I'm getting more hash per watt. 60 degrees cel was around 93th/s and now I'm around 95. 26.5 or less w/ths.
Maybe its just optimizing as I leave it on longer during the day? Been on for 30 hours now.
